I remember winters in Revelstoke. There were times when the conditions were just right when the snow was a little wet and your polyester blend snow jacket was too, that you could lie on your back with your head downhill and with someone sitting on your chest (because you needed weight to make this work) slide the full length of the hill. I only bring this up because Dan's height would make him an excellent toboggan. Mather and 8 or 10 of her friends could catch a ride.
Mather looks so crazy happy in these pictures, that's awesome.
she also says blueberry (three syllables with the b's in the right spot), and a consistent vocalization of "raggedy ann" as she drags her from spot to spot. I'm sure she thinks she is saying "raggedy ann". Then there is "wheeeee", and don't forget "eeieeio" as when singing along to old macdonald had a farm - she's always ready with the chorus.
