Auntastasia Photoshoot

Auntastasia spent the night with us a few weeks ago and she brought her fancy new camera. We had a blueberry pancake breakfast, gave Mather a cute hairdo, and played with lots of toys.

Camping 2.0

As you may recall, Mather is an experienced camper. A few weeks ago, we headed out to Calaveras Big Trees State Park to meet up with a big group of friends and enjoy the outdoors.

Mather had a blast! Perhaps she would disagree a bit and say that she didn't enjoy the hiking (hence the pacifier in the picture below) but she perked-up once we offered her the opportunity to touch every tree we passed on the trail.

And Papasan even caught something,
but it wasn't quite what he was looking for.

We feared that Mather would be a handful to corral in the great outdoors, but she always stayed close to camp and enjoyed hanging out in her very own camp chair...


And eating lots of great food...

She loved the tent...

And she even helped pack up at the end of the weekend...
I think she'd agree that we'll have to do it again next year!

Yosemite

The time has come to answer the question presented in the last post... where was Papasan while Momily and Magoo were in SoCal?


Papasan ventured out on a solo backpacking trip in Yosemite! We may even get a play-by-play once the grad school demands mellow a bit.
