Uncle Freedom's Gift

All I can say is wow. Chris Pape is a world-known grafitti artist with an important legacy in Manhattan. Now he's left a tribute to Mather in San Francisco*. How many kids have something like this?

*Yes, he knows the building owner.

Where is it in the city and how long did it take him to do it?

Okay, that rocks.

It is painted in a small alley in the Mission district. I think it took about 45 minutes. It is the coolest birthday gift ever!

This is totally awesome. I am impressed. How long will it stay there? I want to go see it. Wow. Dorothy saw his "Uncle Freedom" and knew all about him and his art. What a great idea.

Dan & Emily-
Congratulations on your beautiful daughter! You've done a great job on your site. We have a long way to go on ours, obviously, but there's so much more ahead of us. Mather is a gorgeous little girl and I really enjoyed reading about your journey with her. I'll stay tuned! Much love to you both.
